Pigeon Island
Connected to the mainland by a pier in 60’s, Güvercinada has also been home to a castle built by famous Turkish Mariner Barbaros Hayrettin in 16th century. During Ottoman Era this castle has served as a forward base against attacks from other islands. You can take unique photographs of your ship from the island. The House of Virgin Mary
The House of Virgin Mary; According to Christian belief, 5-6 years following the crucifixion of Christ, Saint John and the Virgin Mary spent their last days at a house in the environs of Ephesus.
