As Ege Port Kuşadası, we believe our business and our work benefits society. This begins with a commitment to each of our employees. We encourage all of our staff to take part in volunteer projects and community service projects. As a subsidy of Global Ports Holding, we recognize that an efficient allocation of resources allows us to make a difference in a way that is truly rewarding. We make a concerted effort to be sensitive to local traditions and cultures and to incorporate those into everything we do. While this naturally includes complying with all international standards and local legal regulations, it also includes getting to know the local community and bringing them into our team.
Ege Port Kuşadası is proud to be part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower programme, helping us provide a more accessible and inclusive experience for all guests. The Sunflower symbol allows people with non-visible disabilities, conditions or chronic illnesses to discreetly indicate that they may need additional time, understanding or support. Our team has received dedicated training to recognise the Sunflower and assist guests throughout their port experience.

To reduce reliance on external energy sources and increase the port’s energy independence, we have installed a 0.25 MVA solar energy system on the terminal building roof, capable of generating 400,000 kWh annually to meet the port’s own energy needs.
To reduce emissions and increase energy efficiency in port operations, we have replaced diesel-powered forklifts with electric models for use within the port area.
