The festivities kick off with a spectacular Mehteran ensemble performance, Turkish anthems, Zeybek dance displays, and a procession showcasing local products. The festival begins with a grand procession accompanied by the stirring tunes of Mehter. The opening ceremony includes laying a wreath at the Atatürk bust, followed by protocol speeches and traditional folk dance performances. The daytime program concludes with visits to citizen and protocol booths.
As the day fades, Afrodisias Archaeological Site offers a captivating atmosphere with a special opera and art-filled performance.
At Dedebağ Türbesi Mesire Alanı, guests from Turkey and around the world will enjoy the taste of Keşkek with the Dedebağ Keşkek Hayrı. In the evening, the event presents concerts and performances by renowned artists.
